Margaret Muir’s sampler descended in a Toronto, Canada family and was likely worked there. The sampler is dominated by a bright red, two-chimney house, which is further enhanced by the pink fence and gate, flower-topped columns, hearts, large pots of flowers and fat birds. A stray dog lounges in the space between the row of alphabets, and the checkerboard pots sprout impossibly large red flowers.
Fabric: 32 count Desert Sand Linen
