Excursion #3 - Friesland is an original design inspired by antique samplers originating from the northern Dutch province of Friesland that were created between 1696 and 1792. The sampler includes many distinctive characteristics of a Friesland sampler including, ornamental alphabets, motifs representing daily life and the Frisian lower band featuring a Bee Keeper and his bees. Your sampler can be personalized with your Initials from the alphabet charts provided. Finished Size: 10 1/4” x 5 3/4” Stitches Used: Cross Stitch, Backstitch, Four Sided Stitch, & Eyelets.
