Excursion #4 - England is a band sampler adaptation inspired by antique English samplers that were created in the 17th century. The sampler includes distinctive characteristics of an English band sampler including, Double Running or Holbein repeating pattern designs, undulating bands incorporating flowers and different  stitches to create interest and texture.  

Finished Size:  5” x 11”
Stitches Used: Double Running, Cross Stitch, Montenegrin Stitch, Belgium Cross Stitch, & Running Stitch.
