The Final Soliloquy is a 17th century bed valance-style sampler with a mystery play. Each Act of the play coincides with the historically symbolic motifs of the sampler. Clues, hidden within both the sampler and the play, will be revealed during the workshop in order to discover the solution to the mystery.

Daphne, daughter of a flamboyant actress, grew up in the theatre in Bath and learned all the inner workings at a young age. She became very talented, not only as a costume designer, but also with prop and stage design and from her theatre mentor she also learned the art of needlework. After her mother is diagnosed with a rare disease requiring very expensive drugs and special treatments, Daphne feels obligated to care for her so she accepts a position in a London Shakespearean Theatre. Bills begin to add up, as Daphne's income is not enough to make ends meet.
