Forgery #4 - Harriet Randle Sampler Kit

Harriet wrought this lovely sampler at age 8. Both the upper and lower case alphabet are neatly arranged across the top of the sampler. A unique scroll band divides the alphabet section from the motif section. Harriet’s sampler boasts a wonderful array of motifs which include flower pots, windmills, crowns, birds, lions, trees and hearts.

Fabric: 28 count Lambswool Linen

Stitches Used: Cross Stitch over two, Cross Stitch over one, and Four Sided Stitch.
