Forgery #12 - AG 1801 Groningen Sampler Kit

This sampler is from the Groningen area of Holland. Between 1800 and 1880, samplers from this area were worked in black silk and included several similar qualities including symmetrically arranged potted carnation and tulip motifs, large initials, crowned letter G, borders with corner motifs, deer and birds.

Finished size:  14 7/8" x 14 1/8"  
Fabric: 40 count Lambswool Linen  

Stitches Used: Cross Stitch.
